The best booth design is only worth what gets built. Our build-up service covers everything between “the booth arrives at the venue” and “the booth is ready for opening day” — delivery, assembly, technical testing, and later, dismantling and storage.
What’s included in build-up
Our on-site teams manage installation to the exact plan approved during booth design: structural assembly, graphic and signage fitting, lighting and AV setup, furniture placement, and a full technical check before handover. For larger builds — including double-deck booths — we also handle the additional steps organisers require: submitting structural calculations, load certificates, and fire-safety documentation ahead of the show, and coordinating access slots so the crew isn’t fighting other contractors for floor space.
Why exhibitors outsource build-up
Booth build-up looks simple from the outside — put the panels together, plug in the lights — but timing is unforgiving. Halls have fixed move-in windows, unions and local labour rules vary by country and venue, and a missed delivery slot can mean your booth isn’t ready when doors open. Handing build-up to the same team that designed and produced your booth removes the handover risk between separate design, production and installation contractors.
Why Choose Maverick?
After the show
Build-up doesn’t end when the show opens. We also manage dismantling once the event closes, and — for booths built as sustainable, reusable structures — proper storage between shows so the same booth is ready to travel to its next event rather than being scrapped.
Build-up timelines vary by booth size and complexity: a small custom booth can go up in a day, while a 100 m²+ large exhibition stand or double-deck structure typically needs 3–5 days including rigging and safety sign-off.
Already have a booth built or shipped, and just need it installed? Send us your build details and we’ll quote the on-site crew.
